Several months ago our Director of Finance and Operations moved out of state.  This position is critical to the daily and long term operation of The Dee Norton Lowcountry Children's Center. We questioned how to balance the need to find the right person with the need for someone today?  Our answer came in the person of Jim Jacobs, a partner in B2B CFO, a firm that provides part time and/or temporary Chief Financial Officers for organizations like DNLCC.  I questioned the wisdom of having part time coverage on an interim basis for important financial and operational decisions.
