Mark possesses nearly 20 years of business experience in corporate accounting and finance. He has held industry positions for companies ranging from $1,000,000 to more than $300,000,000 in annual revenues as a CFO and controller. Before moving to the private sector, Mark obtained his CPA credential while working for KPMG Peat Marwick in St. Louis.
Mark started providing CFO and consulting services in 2001 with an emphasis in financial and KPI reporting, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, business process reengineering, and information technology. His skill set also includes complex financial analysis using three dimensional matrix tools and other high-end financial modeling applications. His strong technology background has led to top-line growth through better data analysis techniques and lower costs by creating business process efficiencies.
Recently, he has implemented numerous technology solutions for remote business owners allowing for anytime-anywhere access to critical business applications via Citrix®-based solutions. He has also successfully implemented several document management solutions for smaller sized companies.
Mark's industry experience includes agri-business, private lending, banking, hospitality, retail, manufacturing, real estate, contract food service, restaurant franchising, not-for-profit, publishing and printing, and health care.
Mark holds degrees in Communications and Accounting from Truman State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants and several other national accounting organizations.
He and his wife Deborah have three children. Mark and his family reside in central Missouri where they have been active in church, coaching, and numerous not-for-profit volunteer activities.
