Barbara Floyd

Barbara provides companies in the Baltimore and Annapolis area with on-site chief financial officer services on an as needed and part time basis. Her 25 years combined experience as a CPA, CFO, CFP, CMA, Controller, senior executive, entrepreneur, consultant and business owner gives her a unique ability and perspective to help businesses work through their challenges and build solid plans for financial growth and profitability.

Her focus is on improving profitability through solid financial management. She assists business owners and managers with financial reporting and analysis, strategic planning, budgeting and budget variance analysis, cash forecasting and management, product profitability analysis, cost accounting, financial modeling, cost reduction programs, banking, process development and improvement, business continuity planning, and business development. Further, she helps develop teamwork through regular coaching, training, and cross-training.

Barbara is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP). She holds a Bachelor's Degree from Towson State University and a Master of Science degree in Taxation from University of Baltimore. She is also a graduate of the Stonier School of Banking. Barbara currently serves on the Board of Directors for the BWI Business Partnership and also for the Northern Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce. She is the proud mother of three children: one son in college in New York, one daughter finishing high school and one son serving in the U.S. Army Airborne Infantry.
