Bill has over twenty years of financial and operational experience serving many sizes and types of businesses in either a business advisor capacity or serving as their CFO or Controller. Bill's background is very diverse and covers many different industries, including technology, manufacturing and service related for-profit entities and not-for-profit entities, such as healthcare and institutions of higher education.
Before joining B2B CFO®, Bill worked as a CFO for a technology company, helping them raise over $40 million in equity financing that allowed the company to go from a small startup to a market leader. Prior to working in private industry, Bill worked for a "Big 4" accounting firm where he assisted a variety of private and public companies with accounting, audit and tax services. As a public auditor, Bill catered to companies of all sizes advising clients on potential financial impact of pending or completed transactions or helping them to better understand the latest reporting requirements designated by professional accounting standards.
Bill's background and experience provides his clients with a unique perspective that many would not expect from a typical accountant. Bill can be very detail-oriented but he is also very outcome focused. In addition to performing traditional CFO duties, Bill has worn many other hats during his career, including managing sales teams during transition periods to managing human resource and IT functions. Bill has excellent communication, interpersonal and computer skills marked by the ability to relate effectively and efficiently with people.
Bill is a Certified Public Accountant with a B.S. in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Bill is also a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
Bill was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania and currently lives there with his wife, of 16 years, Fran and their three children.
