Bob has over 25 years of commercially focused financial and operational experience with an established record of success within several emerging growth, dynamic, and restructuring/turnaround environments. He has more than 20 years of hands-on CFO experience working with both public and private early stage (including start-ups) and mid-market growth companies and has raised public and private equity (venture-backed), and debt. He has worked in the industries of financial services, business process outsourcing, software development, wireless telecommunications, and importing, which give his clients a wide range of experience to draw upon. Bob has also spent 8 years in public accounting with Grant Thornton.
Bob's strengths lie in his experience as a detail oriented hands-on accounting, financial, and operations manager, as well as his understanding of the "big picture". He is analytical and a creative problem solver who is comfortable rolling up his sleeves to implement workable solutions. His varied experience also includes managing contract negotiations, human resources, legal function, and internal information technology ("IT"). He possesses solid general business acumen and a thorough understanding of the business drivers together with their related impact on the financial and operational aspects of a business. His experience as a CFO extends to nearly every aspect of a business's financial needs. In Bob’s most recent experience as a CFO, he led all financial and administrative work in connection with a $525 million acquisition; handling the purchase agreement, leading the due diligence, closing the transaction and assisting in the financial and operational integration.

He has been successful in developing policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard company assets, and in improving financial reporting systems.
Bob considers himself a businessman first and an accounting/finance professional second. Bob has been very successful in developing close relationships with CEOs who rely on him for business advice and support, and also use Bob as their "sounding board." He has made countless presentations to Boards (some of which he’s served on) leaving him extremely comfortable with Board members and investors. He is also accomplished in building solid and effective relationships with venture capitalists, bankers, attorneys, and insurance and real estate agents.
Bob earned a BBA in Accounting from Iona College and has his CPA license from the State of New York.
Bob, a native New Yorker, has lived in Alpharetta, Georgia for the past 15 years with his wife and their three children. He enjoys playing chess, tennis, skiing, and is an accomplished martial artist who holds a Black Belt in Muay Thai and a Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
