George H. Bergmark III

George H. Bergmark brings business internal controls expertise to mid-sized businesses, primarily relating to financial & operational systems.

He has been a trusted senior advisor to decision-makers; such as Presidents, Owners, Chief Financial Officers, Controllers and Operations Managers. Working in conjunction with client staff to assess existing work processes and internal control systems, he designs improved systems to enhance efficiency and assist with greater profitability by removing constraints and bottlenecks. He leads and implements planned enhancements and trains client staff. Engagements have included assessing client organization and staffing, making recommendations to realign duties and responsibilities to provide greater internal controls and balance workload. Engagements review client product line profitability and inventory management practices in order to analyze and make recommendations to enhance profitability.

Prior to joining B2B CFO®, Mr. Bergmark was Corporate Controller of ASRC Energy Services in Anchorage, Alaska. AES is a $500MM services company with over 3,700 employees. Before coming to Alaska as Controller of ARAMARK Parks & Resorts – Alaska, a division of a Fortune 500 company, he was President of Houston-based Business Systems & Solutions Inc. He founded Business Systems & Solutions in 1994 to provide business information technology expertise to mid-sized businesses, primarily relating to financial, operational and business process systems.

IBM, Microsoft and AccountMate Software have featured Mr. Bergmark and BSS solutions in National campaigns which included the "Oil & Gas Journal", "Business Finance", "SQL Server" and "Windows" magazines. BSS financial installations can be found in Europe, Canada, South America, as well as throughout the United States.

For 14 years prior to founding BSS, he gained experience in the energy industry as a director of project economics in refining, marketing and supply and as a refinery controller, division controller, planning & analysis manager and senior operations planning analyst.

Mr. Bergmark graduated from The Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering with concentrations in Engineering Economics and Systems Engineering. He completed his graduate work at the University of Oklahoma for a Master of Business Administration majoring in Finance.

He is married and has two teenage children.
