For the past 20 years Albert has worked as a financial manager and VP Finance for businesses in the greater Portland metropolitan area. A resident of SW Washington for the past 22 years, Albert has worked with companies ranging in size from small closely held businesses to large multi-national corporations. His range of experience includes companies in such industries as manufacturing and assembly, fabrication, construction, Internet service provider, and internal auditing for non profit organizations.
Cash flow and inventory controls are a high priority for Albert. He has managed inventories to create a quick turn over and most recently was successful in helping a company turn their raw material inventories every 5-7 days. This along with good cash management will have a positive impact on any organization. Developing and implementing performance indicators is also key to providing a company with strategic direction.
Albert's experiences also include implementation of fully integrated manufacturing systems (ERP), acquisitions and integration of new facilities, supply contract negotiations, bank relationship management, purchasing controls, construction accounting, overseeing annual audits, product and job costing, customer value management, business and employment law, insurance brokering, dispute resolutions, and all other aspects of financial reporting and analysis.
Albert is a hands on manager with great problem solving skills. He also is able to interface with employees at all levels of the organization and gain their trust and respect.
Albert is a graduate of Brigham Young University, undertook graduate studies at University of Portland, and has earned the designation of CMA. He has been married to Shirley for 24 years and they are the proud parents of 5 children (4 girls, 1 boy).
