Ernie began his career in public accounting in Pennsylvania and moved to Texas shortly thereafter where he earned his CPA certificate. He began working in industry and progressed through increasingly responsible financial positions until becoming a CFO in 1990. Until joining B2B CFO^® in March, 2011, Ernie served in several senior level financial executive positions and also spent eight years as the operational executive responsible for a $160 million multi-national manufacturing business. His industry experience includes diverse manufacturing and process operations including steel, aluminum, and plastic and several field service, staffing and fabrication businesses. These businesses operated in the consumer, oil and gas, power generation, industrial, solid waste and liquid containment industries. Ernie has extensive global experience having traveled to and managed businesses in countries throughout the world. In his operational role, he was responsible for directing domestic and global sales and marketing efforts as well as multi plant manufacturing operations.

Ernie has been successful in establishing a high degree of credibility with senior management teams, owners, bankers and investors by providing and interpreting timely and meaningful financial information. He remains focused on continued profitability and process improvements. His unique combination of financial and operational experience provides additional insight into the successful management of a business.

Ernie has worked on due diligence projects, mergers and acquisitions and their successful integration, sales improvement plans, business systems acquisitions and implementations, tax planning and restructuring plans, debt sourcing and debt covenant management, working capital management and reduction programs, internal control and ISO programs, budgeting and forecasting processes, contract review, estimating and contract management processes, insurance programs and incentive compensation plans along with the traditional direction and development of financial reporting, dash board statistics and associated processes.

Ernie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. He served two terms as a city council member in his local community.
