Jeff is an experienced CFO and management consultant with over 25 years of broad financial and administrative experience. He has served as CFO for a $35 million sales and marketing organization, Director of Accounting for a $700 million building materials and construction company, Management Consultant for a global consulting company, and Controller for several fast growing organizations. Jeff spent four years working in public accounting and subsequently owned and operated a bookkeeping and tax practice. Jeff's industry background includes professional services, software, telecommunications, retail distribution, and construction.

• Established the accounting department for a venture capital funded start-up company, implementing Peachtree accounting software, developing budgets and forecasts, and hiring and training employees
• As CFO of a 600 employee company, worked with executive management and bankers to successfully turn around a deteriorating cash situation and remedy loan covenant violations
• Served as Controller for two separate rapidly growing Inc. 500 companies
• Served as Interim Controller for a $25 million acquisition and managed post-merger integration
• Developed and implemented revenue policies and procedures for a $200 million software company
• Led the implementation of a project accounting software system for a professional services firm
• Managed business combination accounting for a company that acquired 14 firms within an 18 month period. Also helped sell two companies while serving as CFO and Controller
• Served on the finance committee for a national organization to provide pre-merger integration services related to the rollup of 22 member companies
• Provided financial oversight for a $475 million debt facility and $400 million of private equity investment

Jeff is licensed by the State of Maryland as a Certified Public Accountant, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He earned his undergraduate degree in Accounting from the Robert H. School of Business at the University of Maryland. Jeff and his wife of 21 years reside in Woodstock, Maryland with their two teenage sons.
