Mike has 25 years of financial management and operational experience as a CFO for privately held companies. Mike was a participating owner and CFO for a telecommunications company in Silicon Valley. As an owner-executive, he's been actively involved in the finances and operations, quality management systems, technologies and retirement plans (Profit Sharing, ESOP and 401K). Mike brings a high integrity, work ethic, attitude that motivates others to help a business prosper.

Mike's years of experience as an owner-executive allows him to analyze the company's processes and identify areas needing improvement and then develop a corrective action plan that works. He knows what it is like to meet payroll and handle the day to day pressures of being a business owner. Mike analyzes all segments of the business and integrates the financial and quality systems to support the company's operations. Mike has a high-level of experience in strategic business planning, establishing accounting and operating controls, transaction processes, IT system integration, human resource, quality management systems and risk management. He has experience working with bankers to secure lines of credit to support the company's growth. Mike also has experience going through the process of selling a business. His experience includes developing strategic business plans and exit strategies, writing financial forecasts to support the business plan, working with the bankers during the negotiation process and performing due diligence. Mike wants to help mid-sized companies that need the experience of a CFO but cannot afford one full-time. He works well with employees in all areas of the business and promotes taking pride and ownership in their work while respecting their contributions to the organization.

Mike graduated from the University of Dayton with a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. He completed his accounting courses at San Jose State University and passed the CPA exam.

Mike and his wife Barb have been married for 17 years and live in Walnut Creek, CA. They have a daughter and a son, both are in high school.
