Ray has over 40 years of wide ranging financial, operational and general management experience as a Partner in Charge of Consulting, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for businesses from closely held companies to publicly held companies at the Senior Executive level and/or as a member of the Board of Directors. Ray has worked and consulted in a variety of industries including manufacturing, sales and distribution, mortgage banking and financial institutions. His consulting experience encompasses clients across the entire state of Texas, the country and Canada. Rays experience includes working in and consulting with virtually all operational areas including Sales, Operations, Human Resources, Information Technology, Treasury, Accounting and Finance.
The criticism of many professionals in accounting and finance is that they dont understand sales or operations and the demands placed on them. Ray has a hands-on background in all these areas which offer executives a perspective that is unique. Everything in business needs to have a purpose and should be directed toward achieving the primary goals of the company. Ray holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in accounting from Baylor University and is a CPA in Texas. He and his wife Cindy have been married for 39 years and live in Houston, Texas. Cindy and Ray have two adult children an architect son that lives in Dallas and a school administrator daughter that lives in Anchorage, Alaska. They have three grandchildren. Ray is active in his church of 40 years and currently serves as the President of his Homeowners Association.
