Ron began his career at Reliance Electric as an accounting clerk, working at night to complete his accounting degree. He served in a series of increasingly responsible accounting, treasury, and business development positions- culminating as Treasurer of RELTEC Corporation, a Reliance Electric telecom spin-off and private equity (Kohlberg, Kravis, Roberts- KKR) company. Subsequent to Reliance Electric/RELTEC, he served in a variety of industries in both large and small companies, in CFO, Treasurer, and President/CEO roles.

Ron is a seasoned financial executive with 30+ years experience, managing Finance, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Information Technology, and Human Resources. He has successfully led business start-ups and turnarounds. Ron's industry experience includes manufacturing, services, distribution, retail, telecom, and specialty plastics.

Ron provides on-site CFO services to companies on an as-needed basis.

As a former CEO, Ron understands the criticality of a strong financial function and the importance of timely, accurate, and relevant financial information, along with good internal control and risk management.

A native Clevelander, Ron has developed and maintains strong relationships within the banking, investor, legal, and public accounting communities.

Ron earned an MBA Degree in Finance from Case Western Reserve University and dual Bachelor of Science Degrees in Accounting and Finance from Lake Erie College. He is a CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a Certified Cash Manager and earned an Associate in Risk Management professional designation from the Insurance Institute of America. Ron has taught various finance and accounting courses at Kent State University and Lake Erie College and is currently on the Adjunct Faculty at Baldwin-Wallace College.
