Richard A. Foster, CPA, MBA is a results-oriented financial consultant with over 30 years of public accounting and financial management experience serving a wide-range of business services industries, including banking, computer services, mortgage lending, legal services, health care services, real estate construction and media content.

During his professional career, Mr. Foster has been in public accounting and corporate finance. As a public accountant, he worked for Ernst & Young CPA's, Grant Thornton CPA's and other regional accounting firms. As a financial manager, he served as Chief Financial Officer for two privately-held corporations, including leading a successful IPO and follow-on stock offering.

During this time, Mr. Foster used his professional experience to help businesses manage cash flow, increase business profits, strengthen business operations and improve business strategies. As a member of the Management Team, Mr. Foster was responsible for accounting procedures, financial projections, compliance reporting, bank relationships and tax reporting requirements.

As a financial consultant, Mr. Foster has been able to adapt his diverse accounting experience to the needs of each individual company. To do this, Mr. Foster uses financial modeling as a tool to forecast business financial outcomes and project potential financial alternatives. This experience has allowed him to service the financial needs of multiple types of businesses and circumstance.

While serving the needs of clients, Mr Foster focuses on establishing the accuracy of financial statements, operating budgets, cash flow statements before developing meaningful strategic plans and financial projections. Recent consulting assignments include:

He a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is married and has six adult children. He is active in his church and is a public speaker on various professional and civic subjects.
