Richard provides clear financial visibility and the proven tools to allow business owners to increase profits and cash flow. He leverages the experience and contacts of his over 180 B2B CFO^® partners whose collective hands-on experiences include the widest range of businesses and business obstacles.

Richard’s own experience includes manufacturers, distributors, contractors and emerging technology startups. He has prior experience as Controller and Treasurer for a publicly listed international manufacturer, and as a CPA and management consultant. He has developed and implemented successful business exit strategies, applying his decades of experience working with both buyers and sellers.

His venture-funded startup experience includes successful funding rounds in a variety of circumstances and involved co-writing and editing business plans, making pitch presentations and round execution through negotiations and due diligence to funding.

He graduated from Dickinson College and completed his MBA work at Temple University and the University of Houston. He was trained by international consulting firm McKinsey & Co. in customer value analysis and strategy development.

Richard lives in Ithaca, NY. He is the proud father of four children, ages 19-28. He serves as a Business Coach in the Alternatives Credit Union BusinessCents Program and also for the Cornell Business Startup Bootcamp. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Tompkins County Visiting Nurses Association.
