Rick is a CPA with more than 25 years of experience as a financial executive with a blend of technical, financial and operational management skills. Rick began his career with Ernst & Young where he serviced publicly and privately-held clients in industries including advertising, entertainment, publishing, transportation, investment companies and not-for-profits. In private industry, he initially managed traditional corporate controllership functions for a dynamic, growth-oriented billion dollar company, but quickly moved into a divisional CFO role with the objective of growing that area of the company through the launch of start-up operations and acquisitions of small to medium sized businesses. In this capacity, Rick successfully collaborated with corporate and division executives to provide strategic, financial, operational, tax and systems support to grow the division from "inception" to a $150 million revenue business with $200 million in assets. Once these operations were established and more mature, Rick worked closely with General Managers and their functional teams to ensure that growth, profitability and cash flow objectives continued to be met.

Most recently, Rick has provided part-time CFO services to a start-up, web-based staffing and recruiting service and has worked with the CEO to prepare a business plan, including long-term financial projections, develop organizational and cost structures, and to solicit funding from prospective investors.

Through his broad and diverse experiences and a hands-on approach, Rick is committed to partnering with CEO's, business owners, and entrepreneurs in the New Jersey, New York City and Philadelphia areas as their CFO. His goal is to improve the value of his clients' ventures by assessing the needs unique to their respective business and working with the owners, their team and outside advisors (bankers, attorneys, and auditors) to meet their objectives. Rick holds a BS in Business and Economics from Lehigh University where he majored in Accounting, and has completed the Leadership Development Program sponsored by the National Leadership Institute at the University of Maryland. A licensed CPA, Rick lives in New Jersey with his wife of over 20 years and their two teenage boys. Rick is an avid soccer fan and after years of playing and coaching, he manages his son's club team; he also enjoys golf, movies, cooking (and eating).
