Royal is a CPA with over 30 years of corporate accounting and management experience. He brings a combination of hands-on and team building skills to improve the effectiveness of an organization. Recent positions include Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance. Work responsibilities include management of IT, purchasing and human resources functions.

Royal has been involved in the front end of various mergers, acquisitions and divestitures with active involvement in the integration phase after close of the transaction. He is experienced in accounting systems, policy development, fiscal management and financial reporting. He has a record of developing and implementing financial and operational controls and measurement systems that improve an organizations profitability and competitive position. In his positions he has managed internal controls, SOX compliance, IFRS compliance, strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting. Royal has served as key customer executive sponsor and has led a process improvement team that reduced the cycle time by 50% of a customer approval process.

During his career he has experience with environmental services, industrial services, transportation, project development, engineering and manufacturing businesses.

Royal graduated from the University of Minnesota - Duluth with a BA in Accounting. He resides in the far western suburbs of Chicago with his wife Debby. They are the parents of 7 grown children.
