Steve has over 25 years of experience as a CEO/CFO/Controller, and certified public accountant. He has diverse domestic and international experience in sales and executive management. At his tenure at Ernst and Whinney (now Ernst and Young) and then a local accounting firm in Cleveland, Steve worked with both large and small for profit and not for profit clients on audit, consulting and tax. This background provides him with a unique and broad perspective that is invaluable to the entrepreneur, CEO, and any organization. With a personal interest in the success of every business he works with, Steve brings enthusiasm to problem solving, revenue opportunities and cost saving programs. Steve also understands how to structure and reorganize operations to align it with the needs of the business owner, whether it be minimizing taxes or maximizing value.

Steve's knowledge and experience can assist any size operation in any life cycle in identifying and implementing continuous cost improvements and business opportunities. He has a keen understanding of all facets of business, with a particular emphasis on creating value.

During his 17+ year tenure as a CFO and President of a midsized company, Steve contributed significantly to its growth to over $50+ million in revenue from $2 million when he joined them. In addition, Steve was a sounding board for all the company's management, and led the company's efforts in acquiring numerous entities and significant contracts. Along with his extensive experience in finance, accounting, financial modeling, international business and administration, he also possesses a thorough knowledge of merger and acquisitions; financing alternatives; IT; and Human Resources. Steve also led the company's development, construction, and financing activities for its facilities.

Steve has negotiated many millions of dollars of lines of credit, construction, term, and real estate loans. In addition, Steve has worked with several capital and mezzanine companies to provide working capital to various businesses, implemented workout situations, and managed IRS and other governmental audits. He has worked directly with multibillion dollar companies as well as small startups. Steve has performed extensive due diligence in various industries, including: production, distribution, import/export, warranty and hospitality, and has testified as an expert witness on several occasions.

Steve understands the importance of cash flow, and ensures the CEO and business owner appreciate its significance, as well as the importance of a strong balance sheet and income statement. He has a solid network of banking, insurance, legal, IT, accounting and other professionals.

Steve earned an MBA from Case Western Reserve University in Finance and Marketing, a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. Steve earned his CPA and held certificates in both Texas and Ohio (currently inactive). He has been a Florida resident for 20 years, and currently resides in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida with his wife, Shelly and three children.

Steve has spent a considerable amount of time helping non-profits, and has served on the board of the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County and the Jewish Community Center, served as the Vice Chair of the Community Planning and Allocations Committee for the Jewish Federation, various finance committees, and has worked on committees on the West Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce.
