Throughout his career, Tom has demonstrated his skill in financial planning, analysis and control as well as his passion for creating order out of chaos.

Tom’s real world grooming began at a Fortune 50 company known for its state-of-the-art practices in finance and accounting. Rising from Budget Analyst to Financial Manager, he experienced a diversity of progressive assignments ranging from cost accounting to profit planning; capital budgeting; inventory control; hedging strategy; financial analysis of business proposals; computer modeling of distribution network; and cash optimization. Tom also served on the company’s management task force for its entry into the soft drink market.

For the past 20 years, Tom has served as consultant, CFO and/or controller for dynamic, privately-held, emerging and mid-sized businesses, including: two SBA-funded ventures; a successful IPO; a $200 million bankruptcy; a startup partnership; sole proprietorship turnaround; $50 million acquisition and spinoff; second generation family-owned business; and, most recently, an international web-based software provider that produced an 800% return to its investors.

Tom holds a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University, M.B.A. from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration (University of Virginia) and J.D. from Pace University School of Law. He lives in Wilton, CT with his wife Charisse and their three children (actually, number one son is in North Carolina completing his Ph.D. in mathematics).
