Tom has over 25 years of senior executive and financial management experience as a CFO. He began his career as a finance administrator with a multi-division manufacturing subsidiary of a Fortune 100 company. He has served in the position of CFO in small to medium sized privately held corporations, Director of Finance for one of the country's largest privately owned major warehousing & logistics company, and Director of Finance for a specialty manufacturer in the aerospace industry. His experience encompasses all aspects of operational and financial management in a variety of industries, including: manufacturing; logistics; transportation; environmental services; various retail and professional services. He has worked in Tennessee for the past decade.

Tom possesses superior analytical and problem-solving abilities allowing him to quickly isolate problems and find the best solutions to increase efficiency and maximize profitability. He is adept at cash and debt management and has a practiced eye at identifying unhealthy financial trends and ratios. He is able to objectively assess a company's financial health and prescribe necessary remedies.

Tom understands that cash flow management is the most important aspect of any business. His cash flow model manages cash; forecasts needs; and insures compliance with bank covenants. He believes that CFO's are a highly specialized breed of financial brainpower and that most small to mid-size companies do not need a full-time expert on their payroll.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Southern California, where he graduated magna cum laude. He has served in a financial oversight capacity for several not-for-profit and charitable organizations. Tom lives with his wife in Chattanooga and has four adult children. He enjoys reading, music, and a variety of outdoor activities, including walking, jogging and cycling on the Chattanooga Riverwalk.
