Albert possesses 25 years of business experience in corporate accounting and finance. He has held industry positions for companies ranging from $5,000,000 to more than $250,000,000 in annual revenues as a CFO and controller. After working in private industry for five years, Albert undertook obtaining his CMA credential, which provided him with an acknowledgement of his expertise in industry as a management accountant.
During his tenure with various corporations, Albert has developed financial and KPI reporting matrices which allow the management to focus on key areas and weather the economic down turn after 9/11 and most recently during the 2008 recession. It has been a tough time for companies as many of the managers had not been through such trying economic conditions before and were paralyzed by the reality of having to tighten their belts. Through management team efforts, not only have the companies weather the storm, but actually increased market share as a result of focusing on pertinent performance measurements and receiving valid and accurate financial information.
Cash flow through proper asset management is a high priority for Albert. He understands the life blood of an organization is cash and with out cash flow, the organization will soon falter. Through his years of experience he has accomplished three software implementations, been involved in the acquisition and integration of new facilities, supply contract negotiations, bank line negotiations, conflict resolutions, and risk management.
Alberts industry experience includes, agri-business, manufacturing, fabrication, distribution, construction (both residential and commercial), franchising, temporary staffing, software development, and not-for-profit.
Albert holds degrees in Business Management and Finance from Brigham Young University. He is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants.
He and his wife Shirley have five children. He is actively involved with his church and has served on the internal audit board for the church as well as monitor the physical facilities group in the region.
