Brian Brink

After more than twenty-five years of both corporate and public accounting positions, in which Brian was both a Controller and for the last fifteen years a CFO, he is now bringing his talents to small to medium sized businesses on a contract basis. Brian is known for combining a strong strategic approach to business with focused tactical execution skills in the areas of business development, sales, and banking relations. His experiences have allowed him to participate in business integrations, strategic financial analysis, and planning, design and implementation of business structures.
Over the years Brian has worked in both private and publicly traded businesses. These experiences have allowed him to work on equity transactions including an IPO, bank debt restructuring, SEC reporting, contract negotiations, and merger and acquisition transactions.
In his previous positions Brian has worked in manufacturing, wholesale distribution and the service industries. His work has spanned from food to paper to consumer goods, automotive and beverage. Brian has had the opportunity to develop and manage a number of accounting staffs in growing companies and has worked closely with business owners and management groups to move businesses forward in their markets. In a number of cases the development of a strong, consistent control and reporting environment in his accounting departments, facilitated the strategic business decisions of senior management.
Brian has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Ferris State University and a MBA from Grand Valley State University. He is also a CPA licensed in the State of Michigan. He serves on the board of Lake Michigan Credit Union and lives in West Michigan with his wife and their two adult children.
