Chuck has over 30 years of broad-based financial experience in a variety of industries including manufacturing, business to business sales, banking and mergers & acquisitions. Most of his career has been spent in senior positions at closely held companies matching the type and size he serves as a B2B CFO^® partner.

Chuck's specific experiences include:

• CFO for a $10MM manufacturer of custom automation equipment where he was responsible for finance, accounting, IT, legal and administration. He facilitated systems and personnel to accommodate 300% growth.
• Vice President for a mergers and acquisitions firm with a specific focus on serving small to medium sized companies ($1MM-$50MM in revenue)
• Interim CFO for a $35MM automotive and furniture parts manufacturer with world wide operations including facilities in Mexico, China and Hungary
• COO for a start-up alternative energy company with plants in Michigan and Virginia
• VP of Finance & Operations for a multi-location computer VAR/reseller with responsibility for all financial and administrative functions. He participated in a management buyout and sale of the company to a publicly traded firm
• Plant controller for a $400MM automotive parts supplier
• Commercial loan officer for a large regional bank holding company managing credits up to $2MM.
• Member of the Investment Committee of an angel investment fund.

Having experienced real life business situations ranging from start up to rapid growth to "tough call" challenging environments, Chuck is well equipped to address the changing needs of clients. He currently serves clients in industries as varied as automotive parts manufacturing, software, construction and restaurants.  He believes in building long term relationships based on trust and integrity.

Chuck's background in mergers and acquisitions combined with his CFO experience enables him to identify the value drivers for a business, implement strategies to increase value and to work with the business owner to develop a successful exit strategy. Chuck can also draw on his "buy side" experience to assist companies who seek to expand via acquisitions. For early stage companies Chuck can provide valuable assistance in developing credible financial plans for potential investors.

Chuck earned his B.A. from Calvin College where he received the Outstanding Accounting Student award and holds an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan where he ranked in the top 5% of his class. He has been married to his wife, Jill, for 35 years and they have been blessed with five wonderful children and the two most beautiful grandchildren in the world. Chuck loves living in beautiful western Michigan - one of the best kept secrets in the U.S.!
