David has over two and a half decades of business experience and is a proven management expert and in-demand speaker. Working in Europe and the USA, David has served as Divisional CFO at a number of Fortune 500 corporations: including Reuters, Marsh & McClennan, Zurich Insurance and ADP as well a snumerous small and mid size companies. As part owner of a small software company, he was heavily involved in the marketing efforts and ultimate sale of the company. As CFO with a national PEO firm he dealt with the credit and financial issues facing hundreds of small business clients. David also spent 5 years in Bermuda managing off shore insurance companies.
A B2B CFO® since 2004, David will quickly identify and present your key metrics to assist in business decisions, and work with you to develop intelligent reports and budgets, help you forecast cash flow and negotiate and restructure your bank debt, while motivating and mentoring staff to help them achieve a high level of performance and professional growth. David's strengths lie in his experience as a hands-on accounting, financial, and operations manager, as well as his knowledge of big picture issues like strategy, financing, growth and turnaround.
An expert on QuickBooks for more than 20 years, he also works with complex financial analysis using OLAP tools and other high-end financial modeling applications. His strong technology background has led to more effective use of internal systems and lower costs by creating business process efficiencies. As a consulting CFO, David has helped many clients improve profitability, reduce costs, improve infrastructure and position them for a successful exit.
David's industry experience is wide ranging and includes software, consulting services, equipment rental, bio-tech, medical, insurance, retail, manufacturing, real estate, restaurant franchising, not-for-profit, publishing and printing, and health care. He also has several European clients with operations in Atlanta and LA. As a B2B CFO® one tends to develop long term relationships with clients and he has been working with most of his clients since he became a B2B CFO® - over 5 years ago.

A native of England, David holds a BSc Summa Cum Laude in Management Science from Warwick University, is a Chartered Management Accountant, and holds an Associate in Insurance Risk Management designation. David is both a US and UK citizen and has lived in Atlanta for over 15 years. He has three children ranging in age from 25 to 13 years old.
