Lee has over 30 years of financial and general management experience in diverse industries including manufacturing, distribution and service. He has served as the CFO of a $50M privately owned company, the CEO of a U.S. subsidiary of a $1B publicly-held international company, and as an M&A advisor to privately-held and family-owned businesses.

Lee’s strengths are his hands-on operations, management and financial expertise combined with his ability to see the big picture challenges - growth, strategy, financing and exit. He has helped companies forecast cash flow, manage working capital, raise margins, improve month-end close procedures and efficiency, renegotiate bank covenants, implement stock option plans and retirement plans. Lee has also initiated and managed bank relationships, negotiated supply contracts and leases and managed investor relations. He can also provide a solid source of knowledge on issues like business restructuring, insurance and human resources.

In addition to being a CPA, Lee is a Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA) and a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI). Lee helps guide business owners thru the Exit Planning process. He assists the owner in identifying and improving the primary Value Drivers of their business; management team, operating systems, financial controls, cash flow, growth and customer base. Lee has advised clients on a variety of acquisitions and sales, including financial modeling, due diligence, purchase/sale agreement, negotiations and post-sale integration.

Lee earned his BB in Business from Western Illinois University in 1978. While working, he completed his MBA degree from Texas Christian University in 1988. Lee became a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) in 1991 and is registered in Illinois. Lee lives in Libertyville, IL with his wife Jane where they are both active in their church.
