Patrick Reid has over 30 years of professional experience as an Auditor, Director of Operations, Controller and Chief Financial Officer for privately held companies. His experience includes successful positions with businesses in the fields of manufacturing, retail, healthcare, and the service industry. He has worked for fast-growing companies (one employer was listed on Inc. Magazine’s list of 500 fastest growing companies), as well as established firms and industry leaders in both the domestic and international marketplaces.

Patrick has a demonstrated aptitude for strategic planning and fiscal operations, where he excels at identifying the key issues facing a company and translating them into financial projections. Accurate forecasts and insightful analysis are hallmarks of his work, and have enabled him to use prudent planning and thoughtful guidance to consistently position his clients to take full advantage of opportunities as well as to overcome slowdowns and downturns in the economy. In one notable instance, his projections alerted management to the probability that the firm would fail all loan covenants that year and need more money than the line-of-credit allowed. The alert was in May and a plan was presented to the bank in June - six months before year end. This early notice allowed for increased borrowing and simultaneously enhanced the company’s relationship with the bank.

In another crisis situation, he successfully negotiated with over forty states regarding a potentially devastating tax issue, ultimately obtaining agreements that allowed the company to resolve the issue and continue in business.

Patrick received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration from Towson State University in 1980 and became a CPA the following year.
