Earlier in his career, Rick applied his entrepreneurial spirit and management mastery to a 7-year project, developing a healthcare technology internet start up company in Atlanta, Georgia. Rick's extensive work received favorable notice when he received a US Software Patent for "Methods & Systems for Object-Based Relational Distributed Databases."
As a Partner with B2B CFO® Rick serves as the part-time CFO and trusted business advisor to clients in numerous industries, including HVAC Contracting, HR Outsourcing, Advertising Technology, Specialty AV, Healthcare Technology, Cancer Treatment specialty, Satellite Communications integrator, Industrial Tools Manufacturer Rep, Custom Cable manufacturing, Natural Gas reseller, Fishing tackle manufacturer, Business Commuter Air Service, Telecommunication Installation services, Battery Distributor, and Metal Building reseller.
Rick is a devoted husband and father. He holds a Computer Science degree from Louisiana State University. Additionally, he is Six Sigma trained, and is an Advanced Certified ProAdvisor in all QuickBooks Products. He presently serves on the Executive Committee for the MIT Enterprise Forum. He volunteers for numerous community organizations where he is often recognized for his generosity and non-business achievements.
