I cannot say enough good things about Jim Cooper. He was the CFO of Sundance Lodging, Inc. for over 12 years and helped take our company from one property with 40 rooms to over 25 properties with over 1,500 rooms. He is talented in so many different aspects in fulfilling the role of Chief Financial Officer.

1. Lending Relationships - I know of nobody better at working with lenders and arranging financing; he worked miracles in arranging financing for all our hotel properties. Jim is just superb at putting loan packages together, finding interested lenders, and negotiating favorable loan terms.
   
2. Financial Statements - Jim is a stickler for making sure that financial statements are both accurate and timely. At the same time, he is practical about helping us generate financial statements that mean something to managing our business.
   
3. Relationships - Jim is great in establishing relationships with lenders, vendors, and employees. He is a people person that helps build talent and inspires confidence in an organization.
   
4. Problem Solver - Jim is a master at quickly recognizing problems and getting down to the bottom line very quickly. But, even more importantly, he is adept at coming up with potential solutions.  Jim is a can do person who helps identify and solve problems.

Without reservation, I would highly recommend Jim Cooper to any company looking to have the services of a stellar Chief Financial Officer.
