Stu has been helping businesses achieve financial growth and profitability for over 26 years. His experiences as a CPA, chief financial officer, consultant and entrepreneur help him bring a comprehensive perspective to situations faced by his clients. Focused on the opportunities for small to mid-sized businesses, Stu is comfortable either "partnering" with the company's management team or rolling up his sleeves to resolve specific problems. He is comfortable working with owners/senior managers, enjoys coaching and training others, and works well at all levels of the organization.

With his experience as a Vice President and CFO for several companies, Stu developed an array of leadership, analytical, organizational and transactional skills. His proven strengths are in the areas of financial modeling and forecasting, operational reengineering and cost controls, budgeting, strategic planning, internal financial controls, Sarbanes Oxley compliance, cash flow analysis and management, treasury functions, merger & acquisition analysis and due diligence review, financial reporting, credit management, contract negotiations, risk management and human resources.

Working with businesses ranging in size from start-up to over $500 million, Stu has developed results oriented strategies customized to the particular needs of the organization. He has experience in providing services to multiple types of industries and businesses, including food distribution, transportation, technology and other service companies, franchising, retail, real estate and numerous other types of small businesses.

After his graduation with honors from the University of Rhode Island with a major in Accounting, Stu began his professional career in public accounting. While in public accounting, he became a Certified Public Accountant and is currently a member of the American Institute of CPA's. Stu is a native of New Jersey.
