Serving as a CFO in Kentucky for over 20 years, Tammy is a CPA who has attained a unique combination of analytical, management and leadership skills. Locations she serves include Lexington, Richmond, Berea, Somerset, Danville, Lancaster, Stanford, London, Corbin and Harrodsburg. She has multi-faceted industry experience including entertainment, manufacturing, contracting, banking, investing, mining, data processing, education and public accounting.

As a business owner, it is critical to have accurate and timely financial data in order to make informed decisions. Tammy believes a business owner should be empowered through budgeting, forecasting and cash management tools to effectively strengthen and grow their business. She works to develop these tools and communicate results that measure performance and identify solutions to improve their business.

Tammy enjoys helping businesses increase efficiency by taking systems that are in place and streamlining the process; the system should work for the business instead of the business working for the system. She has successfully assisted in system conversions and upgrades, data recovery and new implementations.

Cost management, strategic planning, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting and risk management are areas where Tammy has demonstrated proficiency. She also has experience in acquisition and divestiture analysis, lean implementation, documentation of controls, development of policies and procedures and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Tammy works well with all levels of employees and has a leadership style that is motivational. She enjoys the challenge of change and problem solving.

A Kentucky native, Tammy graduated with honors from Eastern Kentucky University and earned a Kentucky CPA certification. She has earned certificates of completion for Banking School I and II at the McIntire School of Commerce associated with the University of Virginia. She has also attained a certificate of completion for a Grant Proposal Writing Workshop from the Grantsmanship Center.

Tammy is married to her high school sweetheart, Jim, and they are blessed with teenage daughters, Beth and Heather. They enjoy the benefits of living in a small town and greatly appreciate their family and community. Tammy is a member of Brindle Ridge Baptist Church and serves on the board of Cedar Rapids Country Club, the local scholarship committee and is President of the RCHS Volleyball Boosters Club.
