Tom brings 27 years of finance and management experience to work for your business. He is an "operations" orientated financial manager with a strong focus on building equity through cash management and constant improvements in operational performance. He has strong analytical and modeling skills and is known for his ability to interpret and communicate results. He is comfortable working at all levels of an organization. Tom has a hands on management style, is decisive, process driven and versatile. Among Tom's areas of expertise are:

• Planning, budgeting and forecasting – Implemented process to track actual performance against budget and to use forecast as early warning system to identify and address risks.
• Cost accounting and pricing.
• Developing and implementing cost reduction/profit improvement plans.
• Has been a leader in developing strategy and executing four major divestitures.
• Led due-diligence and/or financial modeling for four major acquisitions.
• Implemented treasury functions and led transition of Finance, HR and IT functions to a stand alone capability after a business divestiture.
• Developed models to manage working capital and cash flow in a challenging seasonal business environment.
• Worked with Banks and managed Asset Based Loan.
• Managed multiple Joint Ventures.

Tom has extensive experience building financial organizations for growing businesses, as well as, "right sizing" organizations when the situation warrants. Tom enjoys mentoring and coaching staff members to help them develop to their full potential.

Tom has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Michigan State University and a Masters degree in Finance from Walsh College. Tom lives with his wife, Jennie, in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
