May the 4th Be With You

Posted on July 4, 2014 by John Baum

Happy 4th of July from here in the greater Orlando, Sanford and Lake Mary area! What a fantastic day, this 238th birthday of America. Parades, barbeques, and fireworks will be themes for the day, and yet we need to remember those impacted by Hurricane Arthur, which bypassed us here, but hit further up the east coast. Also for those impacted by wildfires in California, and haboobs in Arizona.

As a son of the American Revolution, this is a special day. Also, our own son was born on the 4th of July.

As a new partner with B2B CFO® I couldn’t be more excited and more proud to be a member of this firm. Our partners are experienced, professional, and persistent. We do not give up, we work for our clients’ benefit, and our sole purpose is to improve the lives of those we work for. From start-ups, turnarounds, lifestyle organizations, to exit strategies and legacy goals, we use a unique set of processes to help get you there.

It may involve a 6 step program to help business owners with the growth process, or a 10 step process preparing owners for business transitions. Either way it all starts with a Discovery Analysis™. We are 230 partners with 6700 years of experience that can get you there. We have public and private company CFOs, some with international experience, many with extensive merger and acquisition experience, some with IPO experience, some with public company acquisition experience, and some who have taken public companies private. Whatever your goal, we can help get you there.

We are currently initiating an M&A Incubator Program™ with a national partner which will be rolled out this year. What an exciting time and a tremendous opportunity here in Florida as we expand our presence.

Over the course of the next two months I will be looking at how to buy a company, what to look for, how to value a deal, warning signs, due diligence issues, and what makes a great target deal.

In the meantime, contact myself or any of our partners here in Florida if you have a question, need answers, face a special issue, or are ready to move on a project.
