As Chief Financial Officer of Obermeyer Holdings, LLC, Bill was responsible for running the day-to-day financial operations of the company’s ski apparel business and real estate investments. He also acted as family CFO responsible for the personal finances, real estate, tax and estate planning of the principals of the firm. Prior to Obermeyer, Bill was the Chief Financial Officer and administrator responsible for all financial and business services functions for the Aspen Public Schools.

Previously, Bill held the roles of Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer for a Denver-based, Fortune 500 financial services company. He managed all financial planning and analysis, budgeting, corporate finance, treasury operations, mergers and acquisitions and portfolio management.

Bill’s foundation in finance started at Manufacturers Hanover Trust (now part of JP Morgan Chase). As Vice President, Bill directed the business strategy development and financing activities for the credit card, mortgage banking and consumer finance divisions of the bank’s retail banking group. During his career he developed the financial models, analyzed acquisitions and divestitures, managed numerous consulting projects and implemented key productivity and process improvements.

As a B2B CFO®, Bill’s broad and deep experience touches all aspects of a business’s financial needs. He has helped companies forecast cash flow, manage working capital, raise margins, strengthen policies and procedures, improve workflow and efficiency, renegotiate bank agreements, initiate new banking relationships, negotiate contracts and agreements, restructured leases, employee benefits and incentive plans. Bill also manages a network of accountants, attorneys, bankers, investors, and consultants to complement his personal experience. He provides a solid source of knowledge on issues like business improvement, operations, technology, risk management and human resources.

Bill has a Master of Business Administration from Hofstra University and a Bachelor of Science, Summa Cum Laude in Finance from Long Island University. Bill and his wife Theresa live with their daughter in the Roaring Fork Valley where they are active in the community and the outdoors.
