I began my career as a banker in downtown Manhattan focusing on Trade Finance. I have worked for major banks such as HSBC and for smaller regional banks in New York and South Florida as well as non-bank finance firms in the factoring and asset-based lending space and hedge funds. I have also worked as an entrepreneur in my own company for the past 10 years providing working capital solutions and management consulting services to privately held companies in diverse industries from consumer-packaged goods to telecom to supply chain in the USA and internationally.
I graduated from Baruch College, City University of New York with a BBA in finance and obtained an MBA from Dowling College in New York. I also studied Spanish for one year in Mexico City at Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico-UNAM.
