Now working with B2B CFO as a business transition consultant, Richard helps privately held companies maximize their value and organize their respective transition options. Through the process of Discovery Analysis, he can benchmark your business against your competition and help you prepare a strategic plan for future success.
Richard's skill sets have been concentrated on turning around financially distressed organizations -- some knew they were in distress, others did not. He has the ability to organize and generate company financials in order to analyze strengths and weaknesses, and use data collection to support trend analysis to focus and achieve increased revenue generation, expense minimization, and reliable budget projections.
He has worked with companies just needing slight bookkeeping improvements, with companies needing complete process and recordkeeping overhauls, and most everything in between. Richard supports the theory related in the "E-Myth Revisited" that there is a vital difference between working on your business and working in your business. He fully understands the owner is in charge of the company, and he is willing to share his knowledge, experience and expertise to help company owners have the right information to make the right decisions at the right time.
After graduating from California State Polytechnic University in San Lui Obispo CA, with a BS in Accounting, while working full-time, Richard earned his Masters in Business (MBA) from Utah State University.
Richard went on to C-suite leadership work with organizations in Cincinnati, Washington DC, Sacramento, Chicago, Saint Louis and Las Vegas. He has earned the prestigious Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE).
Richard has always been active in his community, volunteering at Church, serving as a city planning commissioner and county elected official, as well as a volunteer leader at various chambers of commerce and national boards across the country.
Richard and Sandra have raised 8 children, and now have 4 grandchildren. They both enjoy living in Las Vegas, Nevada – with nearly 300 days of sunshine every year.
