{"id":947,"date":"2020-04-04T19:57:38","date_gmt":"2020-04-04T19:57:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.b2bcfo.com\/rick-perrin\/?p=947"},"modified":"2023-01-16T22:13:11","modified_gmt":"2023-01-16T22:13:11","slug":"planning-to-win","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.b2bcfo.com\/rick-perrin\/planning-to-win\/","title":{"rendered":"Planning To Win"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Please take a few minutes to think about these two questions:<\/p>\n<p>1) What are our company&#8217;s\u00a0three most important\u00a0opportunities?<br \/>\n2) What are our company&#8217;s\u00a0three biggest issues or threats?<\/p>\n<p>If your\u00a0company is successful in taking advantage of\u00a0its\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">most important<\/span>\u00a0opportunities and\u00a0eradicates its\u00a0biggest threats in\u00a02010,\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">it will move your company\u00a0to an entirely new level of profitability, growth and financial strength.\u00a0<\/span> If\u00a0instead you work on lots of other less important goals and spend your staff time fighting fires, your\u00a0company may be little better off than it is\u00a0today and will have wasted a year of its history.<\/p>\n<p>To achieve these goals, you must:<\/p>\n<p>1)\u00a0Properly identify the most important (3-5) opportunities and risks.<br \/>\n2) Develop detailed\u00a0action plans to\u00a0successfully\u00a0tackle them.<br \/>\n3)\u00a0Execute\u00a0these plans effectively.<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t waste time.\u00a0 Begin planning for 2010.\u00a0 If you don&#8217;t\u00a0have a strong planning team in-house, I\u00a0recommend bringing in a good outside facilitator to\u00a0help you.\u00a0 There are some great ones in\u00a0Madison, including\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.3goodquestions.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.3GoodQuestions.com<\/a>\u00a0where I am on the planning team.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Please take a few minutes to think about these two questions: 1) What are our company&#8217;s\u00a0three most important\u00a0opportunities? 2) What are our company&#8217;s\u00a0three biggest issues or threats?
