{"id":1493,"date":"2012-05-10T02:14:13","date_gmt":"2012-05-10T02:14:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.shanecampbellcfo.com\/?p=195"},"modified":"2023-10-05T21:11:23","modified_gmt":"2023-10-05T21:11:23","slug":"so-you-want-to-sell-more","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.b2bcfo.com\/shane-campbell\/so-you-want-to-sell-more\/","title":{"rendered":"So You Want to Sell More?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I know, I know.\u00a0 What does a bean-counter, accountant geek know about sales?\u00a0 Actually more than you might think.\u00a0 But setting aside all pre-conceived notions, I wanted to share an article I discovered today.\u00a0 It\u2019s about the physiological changes in people who are asked to talk about themselves.\u00a0 It is really quite fascinating.\u00a0 Here is the article:<\/p>\n<h1><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/business\/technology\/la-fi-tn-self-disclosure-study-20120508,0,7870124.story\">Facebook, Twitter, other social media are brain candy, study says<\/a><\/strong><\/h1>\n<h3>By Deborah Netburn<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><em>May 8, 2012<\/em><em>, <\/em><em>2:05 p.m.<\/em><\/span><br \/>\nIn her article, Deborah says:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>\u201cResearchers at Harvard have gotten to the bottom of why so many of us are compelled to share our every thought, movement, like and want through mediums like Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare, Instagram and Pinterest.
