Mark has extensive experience working with entrepreneurial and closely held businesses across manufacturing, distribution, e-commerce, SaaS, technology, real estate, and consumer products. Most recently, he served as CEO of Botanoceutical Products, Inc. and previously served as CFO for a group of six related companies, including Circle Y Saddles. Following the unexpected death of the companies' owner and CEO, Mark helped lead the organizations through a complex period of transition that ultimately included the successful sale of multiple businesses.
Earlier in his career, Mark served as CFO of ServiceU Corporation, a technology company that was successfully sold to The Active Network, where he subsequently served as a Director of Active Financial Services. These experiences have given him a valuable perspective on both building companies and preparing them for successful transactions.
Mark's approach is straightforward: great financial leadership is about far more than producing financial statements. Business owners need a trusted advisor who can help them understand the story behind the numbers, anticipate what lies ahead, identify obstacles to growth, and make better decisions with confidence.
As a Partner with B2B CFO®, Mark works alongside business owners as a strategic financial partner, helping them improve their companies while pursuing the personal and financial goals that caused them to become business owners in the first place. He particularly enjoys helping owners step back from the day-to-day demands of the business and see the bigger picture—connecting strategy, operations, cash flow, people, and financial performance.
