Paul began his career at KPMG, one of the world's largest professional services firms. While in public accounting, Paul became a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant. From there he moved into industry, serving as the finance leader for the international irrigation division of Lindsay Corporation, a global manufacturer with operations on five continents, and then as Controller for an Industrial IoT subsidiary of Lindsay, where he led an ERP implementation and shortened financial close while partnering with operations to drive profitable growth. Paul then served as Vice President Controller for Green Plains, a publicly traded ag-tech company, leading the operational accounting function supporting eleven plants across the United States while also leading the implementation of a company-wide planning and reporting platform
Most recently, Paul served as General Manager of a niche construction company, where he held full profit-and-loss responsibility and led the leadership team as the Integrator under the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS)®. In his first full year, the company grew annual revenue 31% while growing net income 52% and expanding into new markets.
Having run a business day to day, with full P&L responsibility and his own compensation tied to the bottom line, Paul knows firsthand the weight owners carry when cash is tight and decisions can't wait, and his passion is lightening that load with clear numbers, disciplined processes, and honest counsel.
Paul was raised on a farm near Le Mars, Iowa, and is a graduate of the University of South Dakota. He and his wife, Kayla, live in Elkhorn, Nebraska, with their two children. Outside of work, Paul enjoys helping on the family farm and golf.
