Mitchell's assignments have focused on helping companies with cash flow challenges, process improvements, building IT and HR infrastructures to support future growth, identifying new business opportunities and implementing exit strategies for non-performing assets or the retirement and succession goals of business owners.
Mitchell has an extensive background in developing and implementing financial controls as part of a (bottom-up) financial, operational and strategic approach to business management. Through timely preparation and analysis of financial, operational, and cash flow data, he has helped create managerial "dashboards" so that senior and middle managers have the right data, in real time, to identify and improve their results and fix problems before they become a costly crisis.
Mitchell graduated from San Diego State University with a BS in accounting and earned his MBA in finance and entrepreneurship from Penn State. He began his career in public accounting before moving into the private sector where he climbed the corporate ranks to Controller and CFO for small to mid-market businesses with revenues ranging from $5 million to $100 million dollars.
Mitchell lives and works in Upper Bucks County, Pennsylvania. When he's not working with clients, you can find him spending time enjoying hobbies that include skiing, biking, backpacking, scuba diving and motorcycling.
