The Six Traits that the Mandalorian’s and B2B CFO Partners Have In Common

Are you familiar with the new Disney+ series, The Mandalorian? It’s a popular Star Wars spin-off series, and for many of us huge Star Wars fans, it is very entertaining. A little background: The Mandalorian were a clan-based culture composed of members from multiple species and bound by a common creed, language, and code all from the planet Mandalore. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. In the series, we follow the travails of these lone bounty hunters and gunfighters in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.

As I watch the Mandalorian’s adventures, I think of these unique, dedicated and dynamic species and how they remind me of myself and fellow B2B CFO® Partners. I am often asked what it is that we strategic business advisors with deep financial and management backgrounds do for companies and their teams.
